Where our products come from
The short version: we curate and resell products made by overseas manufacturers. Here's exactly what that means.
We're a curator, not a maker
Quiet Hours doesn't run a workshop and doesn't hand-make anything — and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What we do is find genuinely useful, well-reviewed products from overseas manufacturers, order samples ourselves, check them for quality, and list only the ones we'd actually keep.
What "overseas manufacturer" means for you
- Shipping takes longer than a domestic warehouse. Most orders arrive in 7–12 days. We show that estimate on every product page and again before you pay — not just in an ad.
- Prices are lower than if we manufactured locally. That's most of how we keep prices fair without cutting corners on the product itself.
- Quality can vary supplier to supplier. That's exactly why we order and test samples before anything goes on the site, and why we back every order with a 30-day guarantee — if something arrives wrong, we refund or replace it, usually with nothing to mail back.
Our process before something gets listed
- We shortlist suppliers with verified ratings and real order history.
- We order samples ourselves — at our own cost — before listing anything.
- We check materials, dimensions, and function against what the supplier claims.
- We write the product page from what we actually found, including anything that didn't impress us.
What we won't do
We won't invent a maker's backstory, claim a product is handmade or local when it isn't, or hide the shipping time to make checkout feel faster than it is. If a claim isn't true, it doesn't go on the page.
